Nordic Fund Management (Ireland) Limited, is an authorised manager of Collective Investment Schemes based in the Republic of Ireland. The company was founded in 2002 and is under the supervision of the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The company currently manages two funds, both which are outsourced on a discretionary basis to independent asset managers.
Nordic Absolute Return Fund is an open-ended umbrella unit trust authorised in Ireland by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority persuant to the provisions of the Unit Trust Acts 1990 and any regulations made thereunder. It is a long/short equity hedge fund, which invests in European equities, but with a strong focus on the Nordic equity markets. The target of the Fund is to generate a positive return at low risk. Nordic Fund for Emerging Market Debt is an open-ended umbrella unit trust authorised in Ireland by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority persuant to the provisions of the Unit Trust Acts 1990 and any regulations made thereunder. It invests in performing and non-performing quasi-sovereign, and corporate debt of issuers in emerging markets countries. The Fund attempts to achieve total return by identifying undervalued instruments and holding them to maturity or until they are fairly valued by the market.
